Waiting On The Wings

I have to keep reminding myself about how to act myself, and how to be treating others during my life, so I jotted it down. Since you are considered a self also, this applies to you. This is a "NOTE TO SELF." Take note, I could always take notes but never could carry a note, much less hold a note if we were to compare notes. Let me explain myself so that you may brace yourself because the content of the note could make you a little more selfless and a little less selfish. We all have one self and the picture it paints, well it's a selfie.

The beginning of it all is to come to oneself, but not be full of oneself. Yah that's right, you need to get a hold of yourself. Let's face it, you are trapped inside yourself always looking to be beside yourself when it pertains to excitement, when it's on a high note. I have been beside myself on a sour note also, sometimes agitated, and most of the time it was self-inflicted. On a lighter note, I would be beside myself watching myself in a dream. Beside myself can get ugly though when you add an "s" to beside. You progressively begin to become in a class by yourself. No one is important besides myself in which you usually end up by yourself.

Life can really hit hard sometimes and knock you down. You can become a shadow of oneself, wallowing in self-pity and lowering your self-esteem. Pull yourself together and remember better days are yet to come. Keep telling yourself that. Mistakes we have made just want us to kick ourselves. We all make them, so in spite of oneself, do yourself a favor and don't knock yourself out. You are responsible for yourself, so you should have no problem with fending for yourself. Lastly, not sure what to do with yourself? I highly recommend that you always try to enjoy yourself and laugh yourself silly.

You may be a self-made man or woman, but always remember God made you and self-praise is no recommendation at all. One day you will be beside yourself, for a few moments when your soul leaves your body and where you go next is up to you, yourself. Remember itself is the one identical to it, and hopefully pertaining itself to your soul and spirit. Self-propelled was one of the greatest inventions to mankind and even greater when Jesus is your ride. So, don't outsmart yourself. Remember if Jesus is in your life you're never by yourself, and that's one not to forget. In fact, you may want to write it down.  It’s definitely noteworthy, and it's a little self -assurance that should always be a "NOTE TO SELF.”

While I wait, I will worship
Lord, I'll worship Your name
While I wait, I will trust you
Lord, I'll trust You all the same

With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
